Mr. Opakunle is a seasoned finance professional with over two decades of post-qualification experience spanning finance, food and nutrition, construction, audit, and management consultancy. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, and earned his MBA (Finance & Accounts) from the University of Ibadan.
A Chartered Accountant for over 25 years, Mr. Opakunle has built a formidable career around financial strategy and public revenue management.

During his time with Alpha Beta, he played a central role in restructuring the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) system of Lagos State, which saw an unprecedented increase in monthly revenue from ₦600 million to over ₦20 billion a landmark achievement in Nigeria's public finance history.
